Thanks for Stopping By

It has been quite a while since I have taken the time to blog on a regular basis, and I have honestly missed it. Even though I do not have as much free time as I used to, I have decided to start blogging again, and I intend to do so on a regular basis. In fact, this is actually the second website and blog that I have created this week. The other is a site where my Wife and I can share special memories from our amazing marriage. You can take a look at that site here. I have a tendency to be very opinionated, but I also understand that others may not share that same opinion. With that in mind, please feel free to respond to any of my blog posts, regardless of whether you agree or disagree. My only rule is that everyone has to be respectful of others. Other than that, just take a look around and let me know what you think of the new site.

The 50 State Challenge, Part II

It was just over a year ago that I first wrote about my 50 state challenge. At that time, I had visited 38 states plus the District of Columbia. A lot has happened since then. For starters, last summer Chelsea and I took an 8,000 mile road-trip across the continent....

A quote by First Lady Martha Washington

“I am still determined to be cheerful and happy, in whatever situation I may be; for I have learned from experience that the greater part of our happiness or misery depends upon our dispositions, and not upon our circumstances.”

Website Design and Hosting

As a self-described geek, I love anything computer or Internet related. One thing that has always disappointed me was how the reliable online services were extremely expensive, while the cheaper options were generally poor quality. I have decided to do what I can to rectify that situation. Going forward, I will be launching my own website design and web services company. In addition to website design, my company will handle website hosting, email hosting, Microsoft Exchange hosting, domain registration, online storage, online backup systems, and many other services. I will be announcing the new company soon, but in the meantime feel free to contact me if you have any website design or website hosting needs.

The reason for my happiness.
